Some say "RD" isn't a Classic, hate on Vol 1 cause of the "Sunshine" song and video and "I know what girls like" song. And feel Vol 2 was way to commercial. But all 3 are clearly quality albums.

The only fuckery Puff did was that "I know what Girls Like" with Lil Kim song, that was some bad boy era shit right there, lol. "Sunshine" sampled a Classic song but Babyface on the hook and the techno color video ruined the song. It's funny you say HKL brought him back to the streets when the fact is most people felt he went commercial with that album. It did sell 5 Million. But Vol 1 only had a few commerical songs. What people don't get was Jay was just following the formula. Some Commercial songs mixed with some street songs. He has used this formula on ever single album and will continue to use it until he stop making music. That was the formula he saw work with Big so he won't stop using it.
