Shit nobody did until "Stan" and "Ether" came out lol Undeniable classic songs

I was pretty much introduced to underground Hip hop when I first joined in '03. Mad knowledge gained since then.

The Reason has enhanced my Hip Hop knowledge a lot.

- After Joe Budden debut album I thought he disappeared off the face of the Earth. But the Reason helped me discover his Mood Musik series. At that time, of course, he was the most loved artist on the internet, and the Reason was all on his johnson talking about he's the best rapper in the game, but then when his album drops he sells like 3,000 records.

- Weezy, Eminem and Jay are either the best rappers alive, or the worst rappers ever. Nothing in between.

- All Hip Hop albums have to sound similar to anything put out between 1988-94 to even be in consideration for being a classic album(so anyone from the south can't possibly have a classic album, ever).

- The best rappers in the game are irrelevant/unknown.

- Everyone from the west sucks.

- If you're a female not named Lauryn Hill, you can't rap.

Yep. I've learned a lot around these parts...

I learned Tupac fans were a bunch of self-hating, disconcerted inbreds that always felt compelled to live their lives through their favorite fake thug because they're easily bamboozled and have no mind of their own.

Ive learned this is the only place people REALLY hate Nas/Eminem

Smh at 4-5 internet nerds

Ive learned that as long as you have 1000+ posts you can be a complete fucktard and the rest of the 'elite' will ride your dick regardless

Ive Learned that Talib/Common/Mos/Big L/Guru/Wu Tang/Ice Cube are some of the most repsected rappers here but to make an actual thread about them will get you nothing but tumbleweed

Ive Learned that 'disscussing the art of true hip hop' revolves around arguing about waka/gucci/rawse/Lil B

Ive Learned that good unerground hip hop is to be respected but not listened too

Ive also learned that Sociopath tendancies is a dick.

I love the IC

I learned that no matter how good a rapper's music is ppl will still find a REASON not to like it.

Intelligence and the music you listen to do not correlate with eachother at all.

The main ones screaming HIPHOP is Dead are the ppl who are killing it

Niggas on this forum will go down in flames defending their favorite rapper.

Ppl are followers.....
