Why do I keep getting @ed to this thread? them pictures of the earth have been proven as computer generated lies already, you have got to do your research but noooo your all too distracted by the bullshit, thinking about Trump and other bullshit instead of doing the research.

OK maybe they don't know everything but they do be putting out pictures of the galaxy, how can they get a picture of the galaxy but cannot give us a picture of the earth? how can we get to the moon put still we cannot get to the bottom of our own oceans? they are lying to us on a global scale about this space shit that is obvious to me, but hey this thread is not about that so I will not derail, I have my beliefs and others have theirs.

Nigga youve never seen a picture of earth?

At best you've seen a disc view or a rendering but you haven't seen a true entire image of Earth. I'm not aligning myself with dudes thinking but some of you need to pump your brakes.

What kind of pics do you take of a sphere from space?

A full disk view is an entire image of earth

And there a real time images of earth...stop it

All this. Also they have goddamn timelapse photos of earth from space stations where you can watch it rotate. The shits a fucking sphere.

You would think people on the internet would know this. There are satellites in space, which is how you get the GPS from google. Pictures of the Earth are everywhere.

If the Earth is flat does that mean Space is round

Or if not we'll stick to the blackness of space

Sea Lions In California Are Dying From A Toxic Algae That Ravages Their Brains

Many scientists say that the development of the toxin is a byproduct of increased ocean pollution and higher water temperatures that allow it to thrive. With heavy rains this year, more fertilizer and waste water has washed into the sea.

Yo I dont fucking think the world is flat but you guys know those pictures are computer generated right? Rendered images. They're not real. You're not proving anything. Which was my original point. It's like watching a bunch of semi retards make fun of the retarded kid. Disgusting to watch.

So this is a fake earth too?

A NASA camera on the Deep Space Climate Observatory satellite has returned its first view of the entire sunlit side of Earth from one million miles away.

This color image of Earth was taken by NASA’s Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC), a four megapixel CCD camera and telescope. The image was generated by combining three separate images to create a photographic-quality image. The camera takes a series of 10 images using different narrowband filters -- from ultraviolet to near infrared -- to produce a variety of science products. The red, green and blue channel images are used in these color images.

The image was taken July 6, 2015, showing North and Central America. The central turquoise areas are shallow seas around the Caribbean islands. This Earth image shows the effects of sunlight scattered by air molecules, giving the image a characteristic bluish tint. The EPIC team is working to remove this atmospheric effect from subsequent images. Once the instrument begins regular data acquisition, EPIC will provide a daily series of Earth images allowing for the first time study of daily variations over the entire globe. These images, available 12 to 36 hours after they are acquired, will be posted to a dedicated web page by September 2015.

The primary objective of DSCOVR, a partnership between NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the U.S. Air Force, is to maintain the nation’s real-time solar wind monitoring capabilities, which are critical to the accuracy and lead time of space weather alerts and forecasts from NOAA.

*CCD cameras:

In recent years CCD has become a major technology for digital imaging. In a CCD image sensor, pixels are represented by p-doped metal-oxide-semiconductors (MOS) capacitors. These capacitors are biased above the threshold for inversion when image acquisition begins, allowing the conversion of incoming photons into electron charges at the semiconductor-oxide interface; the CCD is then used to read out these charges. Although CCDs are not the only technology to allow for light detection, CCD image sensors are widely used in professional, medical, and scientific applications where high-quality image data are required. In applications with less exacting quality demands, such as consumer and professional digital cameras, active pixel sensors, also known as complementary metal-oxide-semiconductors (CMOS) are generally used; the large quality advantage CCDs enjoyed early on has narrowed over time.

I watched a couple episodes of the cosmos with my 5yr old and he almost started crying because his mind was blown

Those fucking fish at the bottom of the ocean look so damn prehistoric they probably did not even evolved as much as the other fish closer to the top of the ocean.

See, the way my imagination and anxiety is set up, I can't just be casually diving into the unknown like that.
