How Come Jay-Z Never Gets Called Out For Trying To Get in Others' Spotlight?

jay definetly has faults but this aint one of them...

Eminem is collabing with just about everyone now..which disgusts me

g unit used to beef with all the rappers their working with now (kanye, fab, even lloyd the singer lol)

busta rhymes is known as the remix king noone ever says anything about him dickriding

its in the nature of hip hop to collab with known and unknown artist...cant just single out jay z for doing what everyone else does

Thats the niggas recipe for success these last couple of years. And to be honest alot of times he is the wackest on the song. But people will just give his ass a pass because he is J.

I'm a die hard Jay-Z fan to the heart, but i'm NOT ashamed to say Nicki killed everybody in that track. I listen to that track to hear Nicki honestly. The IC won't admit that one cuz they HATE Nicki.

GRODT, Wanksta, In Da Club, Many Men did better by a wide margin than The Black Album, Encore, Dirt off My Shoulder,99 Problems

50 was the biggest thing in rap in 2003 WITHOUT employing Michael Jackson at MSG. He was just hyped.

Jay-Z was ridiculous for that fraud ass retirement shit - he clearly just wanted attention/get out of the Roc-A-Fella situation. He bitched the whole Blueprint 2/ Black Album about not being loved enough. That whole retirement shit was a stunt and still, he couldn't touch 50 at that time.

Jay-Z was TRYING to put himself up there but shit wasn't authentic. I mean, he came back in 06 and was a big story. $10 million dollars in media will do that...MNF spots and commercials out the ass...but ya know how that turned out.

And don't get it fucked up, I'm a real fan of Jay - but real is real.

Jay-Z was not hotter than 50 Cent in 2003.

Fuck, I dunno, Jamaica Queens or Connecticut.
I don't give a fuck about 50 Cent to know. It doesn't matter.

And it doesn't affect 2003 either.

Kanye & Wayne are "Bigger" than Jay-Z NOW

Not according to their record sales and concert draw, BP3 was a bigger world wide album than any Kanye and Wayne album.

I dont really care about Jay Z being in the spotlight or his sales or level of fame

I simply cant play Jay Z's Albums cos i feel they lack replay value and he is not a good Artist i feel his content is so one diminensional and i cant hear emotion in his Music it sounds very bland and boring lacks any soul or pain and i'm not a fan of his voice either Lyrically i dont hear anything special and he doesnt say anything deep or relatable as far as his content

I've heard every Jay Z Album and cant say i bump any to this day cos i just feel they not good enough for me to listen to them

I think him hopping on these tracks is a mutually beneficially move.

Whoever's hot isn't as big an artist as Jay

&

Jay's a huge artist but may not be as hot as Wayne or Drake of 50 of whatever year it is.

As for J. Cole, Who Dat got waaaaaaaay more play than it was supposed to for the type of song it was. Someone had to have pushed that song. I'm a huge J. Cole fan, but there was nothing special about that song. However, Jay's been giving him some decent looks with the concerts. Besides, Cole a while ago (and I'm sure it may have changed since then) that the only feature he planned on having on the album was Jay-Z.
