It's 2010 not 1994 get over it and maybe then Westcoast can start poppin' again. The best considered MC's on the West ain't even from the West (2pac, Kurupt, Xzibit etc). Westcoast say the created gangsta-rap so how come so many of those "gangsta rappers" are so fake (2pac, Game, Ice Cube, Snoop, DPG, Mack 10, Yukmouth etc) so FOH.

If you don't usher in something new first,break the mold or add on to something , you generally don't get credit. No one remembers second place, shit can be said about many artists.

True, but that depends. For instance, CMW may be underrated because of their locations. A duo like Mobb Deep often gets talked about and even gets more credit than deserved but they didn't break any new grounds with their brand of gangsta rap to be real. Like Geto Boys have done the most for gangsta rap from anybody out there after the genre got a place in hip-hop but yet their legacy and deserved credit often goes past most unnoticed which is sad. Usually being from east coast helps whoever that is get more acknowledgment and shine.
