How Can You Tell If An MC Is Lyrical Or Not

It's about how you say something, that makes you lyrical. It's using similes, double entandres, wordplay, metaphors,etc. I get some people like their lyrics straight forward (Pac, Cube, Face,etc), but i've always preferred witty mcs like Lupe, Pharoahe Monch,etc.

Lyrical to me is when I hear something so dope I have to rewind it just to comprehend how dope it was...Good wordplay is definitely a part of good lyricism...Rhyme scheme plays a part as well. Ability to go over an average listener's head should play a part also.

When an MC can do this consistently throughout his music, imo he can be considered lyrical.
