the short answer is, most of the G&S posters (past and present) have moved onto Twitter. the next iteration of the IC's gonna include Twitter functionality, so we're all gonna be connected again, but we still don't know when that's gonna be.

as far as the policing of the forum itself, sometimes I think it's a lil overregulated and other times I wonder where the hell the mods at?? so...

Twitter functionality? The hell does that include? lol (I dont use twitter). So what you're saying is the regulation is somewhat balanced :tu lol

& props for letting the mods handle their own forums and not micro-managing :tu

honestly, i feel like the gns should be "boring" in a sense.... i feel like the conversations in there are supposed to be of a serious note.....no so much of the silly and looney shit.. that's what the donkey is for...

now i'm not talking overly serious like the topics in the social lounge ........which seems more of a fourm for contreversial shit, politics, religion n what not....

i feel like the gns should be about shit the 21+ community deals with on a normal basis....life after college for the most part.. relationships, single parents, problems on the job... basically like the shit a group of adults would talk about at an after work happy hour.. or something you hear on your favorite morning show....

yea sometimes shit can get funny and entertaining... but there's still a level of maturity and professionalism in the gns...

which is why i feel like shit has gotten much looser in the donkey lately..

if people just want that no holds bar geeking to go down ... be encouraged to do that in the donkey....

the donkey should and always will be the gns's oboxious little brother....

that's just my opinon on it...but yea, i feel like it's damn near essential to divert that "troll" traffic away from the gns if it's to actually remain respectable....

on some real shit though i understand the concept behind gns and for a period before it got out of control there was a good balance of entertainment in the gns. imo not every thread needs to be moderated though some can get the regular "lock" only those really shitty threads should get those treatment ie ricanprince threads about engagement rings

Add Ether I Am trolling self to the list as well lol It's a tough job but somebody has to do it. The night OTT took over I was actually modding donkey in the process of everything that was going on. I must have unapproved and merged at least 20 something threads that night haha
