Supply and demand lol.......Kanye still has donated to many charities and so has Russell. He's not a bad guy just because his concert promoters want to charge an arm and a leg for Jay and Kanye's concerts. I work security in a building filled with doctors and nurses, who all obviously have great money, and some of them wear Occupy Wall Street pins on their shirts. The cost of BASICS is too high, including housing, food, and rent. Going to a concert is a luxury......I have no problem with luxuries being expensive. But the basics should never be out of reach for the middle class and poor.

So is Wall Street responsible for that? And if so how do you fix the problem? Bigger gov? Smaller gov? socialism?

You got some smart folks - I learned long ago to live within my means and now that the economy is tanking, and so many are crying about there debt etc..I can sleep at night. I decided to sacrifice & get my credit cards paid off or low enough to manage & it working. Those people who got duped into buying way more than they could afford,have no one else to blame but themselves. However those on the periphery sure are leading them in the wrong direction and of course the blame game will always help those type of individuals believe that they aren't responsible for being duped.

and by no means am I saying that everyone is in this position. My dad was blessed to get a job its all luck that i have the parents i have. But part of it was my dad took allot less money for 6 months and we had to cut back long story short now he is getting more than before the recession. But that's the problem people wanna live beyond their means and they don't wanna start from square 1. And my parents were not born from wealthly families but because they saved and planned I am able to to benifit by being 2 semesters from college and having a life allot better than theirs.

In 2001, unemployment was 4.2%. In 2008 when he left it was 7.6%. Today its at 9.1% (or 9.2 I think lol). But either way, how can more ppl me losing their jobs yet y'all (not you but the universal you) claim the recession is over.
