When heavy weights collide they should collab more often to get a chemistry. Nas and Rick Ross benefit from increased collabs. "Accidental Murderers"> “Black Republican"

The fucked up thing is Jay wanted to, but Nas said no. I mean that shit could've turned into a lil collab EP or even a full album. which would've been dope at the time as well since they were both trying to show they still had it, jay coming out of retirement and nas trying to correct his mistakes from SD.

Nasir was a deer in headlights on this song he was intimidated by jigga's presence and fumbled the ball his verse was basic and weak

'I'm bacc in da hood and they like hey nas/ a couple of fat cats a couple of ai's"??? Nasir was takin about acrobats and hood angels and darkness Da fucc

Dope song, dope track, dope hook and dope jigga verse.Nasir got bodied which was baffling since he was the person who emphasized merking rappas on they own shit then got merked

Weezy and Juelz version. Wayne skated (pun intended) over this beat like two legends ain't already kill it! *Trinidad James voice* My favorite verse from that nigga for a minute.

Juelz was alright too.

Wake a nigga up like he got somewhere to be

If that song was made into an official video and had a 3rd verse where Jay and Nas went back and forth, it would be a legendary moment in music, period.

I don't think that it makes sense from Nas standpoint, they don't make the same kinda music. Nas don't make that shyt that Jay be makin, Nas stands for 'real hip hop' and thats something that he's tried to not negotiate, there's values and attitudes towards hip hop and his concept and belief of it, behind it, which is why he prolly thought that working wit Jay wouldn't represent what he stands for, regardless of the possible monetary opportunities that would arise from it, from what we've seen that doesn't drive Nas's music.

i first heard the song and thought this.
