Very attached. Even after seeing most of the country, the south is my home. I'll vacation here and there, but I ain't leaving the dirty.

If I had to move somewhere else I'd pick Utah, New Mexico, or California. Somewhere southwest. I can't stand the east side of the country.

When I moved from Cali to Texas my senior year of Highschool, I thought the world was fucking over. Fight after fight after fight when I touched down in the lonestar. But then, shit changed up, made new friends, and started to fuck with Texas. 6 years later, Now I'm ready to get the fuck outta Texas and going back to Cali isn't really a thought in my mind. Idk man...it ain't where you from, it's where you at. Oldest saying in the book. Of course you are gone be attached to different spots and cultures but damn near everywhere has something for someone. What makes the most sense for me and my fam is what it is.

but from my experience people who ive met from different places either love they city.... and had 2 leave cuz of more important reasons...( fam, career, better oportunities) or left cuz it was boring in the city... why else would u leave a place where all yo fam and friends are and u been all yo life...?

Because the world is so big and you might just want to travel to meet new people, see new things, understand different cultures in more depth, etcetera.

Yet I don't think im far enough in my career/make enough money to REALLY enjoy this city (or any other city for that matter), so im not leaving here til I know for sure I can bounce be set wherever I go.

I love my city.

It's not to big, but not small enough to be a backwoods hick town. It's got both a top university and college (amongst Canadian schools) so the population is becoming more diverse. It is also very sprawled out.

It's within 2 hours of a big city (1 million+ people), within an hour of the Rocky Mountains and within an hour of the US border (works well for flights).

We are also the sunniest city in Canada. And have the most incredible sunsets.

I am from Baltimore, and some people confuse me with being from newyork. My birthplace is baltimore md, and I never lived up newyork, so it's strange to me that I'm compared to newyorkers, because I only visited newyork a couple of times, and I hang mainly in baltimore, DMV (mason dixion) or further down the south.
