Now when you read the work of the egyptians themselves, you will read less to nothing about the trivial born on 25 december shit. Seriously, when u read the work of the ancients you will be reading deep filosofical thoughts, interesting plights and also some farfetched straight up bullshit. It is about the content, not about imperial doctrine of law and order(holidays etc) from ruler(s) to citizens/slaves.
