Yea, it's not just Horus and Jesus either that are almost identical. A good bit of Gods in history have matching stories. The first God was created and the story pushed and every God after that used the same thing and an added twist. Jesus' added twist was that he died for peoples sins.

1. Is it a sin of some sort to celebrate Jesus's bday on the 25th, when in fact he wasn’t born on that day and different God "Horus" was actually born on that day?

Horus wasn't born on December 25th. He was born on the 5th day of the Epagomenal Days. This corresponds to sometime in August.

2. Horus was like 3000 years before Christ, so who stole who's story? Was Horus's story converted into Jesus's story down the line to try to deceive people or was parts of Horus's story incorporated into the story of Jesus

The stories have very little in common.

Conception:

Horus: By a virgin. There is some doubt about this matter.

Jesus: By a virgin.

Horus' mother was a slatternly and incestuous goddess by the name of Isis who raised Osiris, her brother, from the dead to have sex with him. Horus was the result.

Father:

Horus: Only begotten son of the God Osiris.

Jesus: Only begotten son of Yehovah (in the form of the Holy Spirit).

True

Mother:

Horus: Meri.

Jesus: Miriam (a.k.a. Mary).

Isis' mother was just plain Isis. Isis-meri just means Isis beloved or something like that.

Foster father:

Horus: Seb, (Jo-Seph).

Jesus: Joseph.

Seb? Where does Seb come from? Where does Jo-Seb come from?

Foster father's ancestry:

Horus: Of royal descent.

Jesus: Of royal descent.

True.

Birth location:

Horus: In a cave.

Jesus: In a cave or stable.

Maybe, if marshlands have caves and papyrus reeds are mangers.

Birth heralded by:

Horus: The star Sirius, the morning star.

Jesus: An unidentified "star in the East."

False.

Method of death:

Horus: By crucifixion.

Jesus: By crucifixion.

Horus was bitten by a scorpion as a child. That's the only account of his death.

Accompanied by:

Horus: Two thieves.

Jesus: Two thieves.

There weren't any thieves.

Wasn't he immortal and didn't die but changed form into and became Osiris? I don't remember anywhere about him dying.

Regardless of this being another "god's" birthday, the fact is it's a false doctrine. The teaching of this is false, so it's against the bible anyways. So would it be considered a sin? Possibly. The bible tells of Jesus's birth, about the setting and what the people were doing around that time. With all that said, they estimate his birthdate to be around Nov 1st - Nov 20th. It's a toss up between those dates. Something like that.

Never heard of Horus changing into his father (because his father died), but I heard that he was merged with Ra because Horus was the sky god and Ra the sun god. I found an account of Horus' birth where he was bitten by a scorpion and then his mother screamed and the poison left his body.

I read it somewhere I'll have to find it, but yea it is weird because he supposedly killed Seth to avenge Osiris' murder. I tried goin over some things online real quick but every story is different so far so Im'a have to look a little bit longer.

The real trouble is that the myths changed over time too. Interesting stuff, though.

Horus killed Set and lost an eye (eye of horus). Set was castrated during the battle.

Here's a site talking about him changing to Osiris.. I doesn't go into detail or anything but I bolded where it says it.

Horus was considered to be immortal. Ancient Egyptian religion propounded that he lived through the life of every pharaoh, an embodiment of his presence. On the death of a pharaoh, it was believed that Horus simply changed form and became Osiris. In ancient Egypt, kings were believed to be the incarnation of Horus, inheritors of eternal life.

You're misinterpreting the changing thing. Pharaoh was believed to be the embodiment of Horus on earth. When pharaoh died, he became Osiris. The new pharaoh is now Horus. Osiris eventually became the god of the underworld upon death while Horus was still a principal god. So it wasnt literally the "god" Horus becoming Osiris.

I can see where that fits better, but the thing I posted does say that after a pharaohs death it was Horus who changed form and became Osiris.

Ancient Egyptians believed that the king was a manifestation of Horus, while alive. In death, the king was supposed to have donned the role of Osiris, another god in the pantheon.

Or the ark of the covenant?
