People like to sleep on Emenim as a CEO but his Shady Records has dropped Gold or Platinum less than every two years on average so his label output is a lot more consistent than other labels who have crumbled.

The reality is 90% of Albums released on Shady Records since its existance have sold Platinum or Multi Platinum

Eminem put on and signed 50 Cent who a few years ago was selling like crazy and Em was making crazy cake of 50's sales

As an Artist Em is very smart too he has Produced majority of his Music himself and Sung majority of the Hooks on his records himself while selling Diamond on some Albums

50 to this very day is still signed to Shady Records after 10 years and is Em is his boss

One misinformed person told me that Akon only caked off Lady Gaga as if he didn't produce an Internatiol hit with a michael Jackson that was on the Top ten lists in about 20 different countries. The OMG tour Akon went on with Usher generated 75 million dollars. Even without Lady Gaga he'd still be on the list based on his artist T-Pain and his international money that's heavy.

Another misinformed person might forget that Pitbull Is an International artist who Sells a lot of records overseas especially in the Spanish speaking countries, his singles are HUGE sellers overseas.

Ross had a huge 2010-2011 Gold single with Drake, Teflon Don sold 600,000 copies and he had guest appearances on everybody album and stayed on tour with LiL Wayne, it's amazing how he can sign so much talent and yet he's never gone platinum as most people like to mention.

T-Pain is still one of the most sought after artist for features, he has over 100 in the last couple years and he owns all his publishing (NappyPub Music) so he makes a nice bit of change off 5 platinum-plus singles and 3 Gold albums.

Anybody that thinks Master P and Kayslay have the ability to produce songs, sell records/ringtones, tour extensively, get paid for guest-verses or have a successful artist doing those things for 2012 is crazy or intoxicated.
