Macklemore out here pushing units on the stealth tip
According to billboard.com -Amazon.com had a one day $1.99 sale on cds last week which cause it to rise up the charts. He also has the number one R&B song for the 8th straight week. Thrift shop is a good song with a good hook and beat but IMO he can't rap at all. But I guess people love it. It's probably going to be the best selling song of the year.
But this I can't understand. I never hear it on local radio. Maybe it's in heavy rotation on 'white soul/r&b stations'- the ones that plays old school R&B hits that crossed over to the pop charts?

Did not expect Macklemore and Ryan Lewis to move units like that. I know their fan base is huge outside of typical rappers. Not too surprised at all.

I live in Houston and they play his song a lot on 97.9, our urban radio station
