I don't know if anybody else remembers this but it was right after 50 Cent blew up. And there was a shoot out at Hot 97 between 50 Cent and Game's camps.

Well around that time, maybe a few months later, there was an unsigned rapper who had an interview scheduled at Hot 97. Apparently he shot himself and showed up to Hot 97 still bleeding. He said that he had just got shot on his way to the station. They asked him why he didn't go to the hospital and he said that his rap career was more important and he wasn't going to miss his opportunity to be on Hot 97.

The people at Hot 97 saw right through it and figured he shot himself in the leg for publicity. Anyway it didn't work because I can't remember the rapper's name and I don't think he ever made any noise after that.

I posted that on the first page God. Not surprised you had to type another 3 paragraphs related to a man's butt tho.....

Smh

I think this whole Beyonce/Rachel Roy crap may also be a publicity stunt. I'm usually able to see thru bs and this shit is looking faker than Beyonce pregnancy

Go back and reread what you posted.

Nobody knew what you were talking about because you didn't tell the story.

Your storytelling skills are weak.

Epitome of "Y'all say it to each other, so why can't we?"

I fuck with Nas but that was an L.

Shynes prison interview on MTV before Godfather Buried Alive dropped. All that hype and trying to come off as a revolutionary behind bars just for a recycled bullshit album.

Since none of my stories culminate in drug fueled male rape, I could see you feeling that way.

Ol "hurry up and get to the good part" ass...

3. Remember that one time where Havoc posted a series of tweets about Prodigy having gay sex in jail but later he denied making those tweets because "supposedly" he left his phone at a gas station.

It's sad how the majority is actually falling for the gimmick too. Lmao, like c'mon its obvious as fuck

One of the lamest publicity stunts was right before "The Cool" came out Lupe Fiasco messed up a few words while reciting some tribe called quest lyrics and the so called "internet" attacked him for it which led to him saying he never liked "Midnight Marauders" and then claiming he was going to sue vibe for misquoting him.

Westside Connection:

They made dope music...but Cube should be that last person complaining about not getting luv from the East...he was one of the few that did get mad props in nyc.

...I remember even Chris Rock said in Rolling Stone magazine that when the AMW tour stopped at the Apollo, all the major east coast rappers were their in attendance showing respect.

He was complaining about the West not getting love from the East, namely east coast media.

He stood up for the cost, not himself. Fact is the Eat hated hard on the West once they started reigning. began with Tim Dog.

Nah man, Cube was trying to jump on the momentum Pac had when people thought he was going at the entire East coast.

Theres even a youtube audio interview where Pac accuses cube of this himself.

I dont agree with everything Pac says, but i do agree with that....the timing of when Bow Down dropped was to coincidental....I also agree with Common who said the only reason Cube went there was because his music career was declining....he had plenty time to stand up for the West in his prime, which woulda made more sense.
