People see dollar signs when they look at him. He's marketable and fans are willing to spend money on him.
Like I pointed out to @Sion before, the fact that he possesses full ownership of his masters and copyrights and is in complete control of his career shows that he's here to stay. Dude is strong in the business side of the industry, you can't say that about many artist. That alone will keep him int the game for years.
I feel that a lot of artist (Ace Hood, possibly Big Sean) out right now won't be around in 2 years but Mack ain't one of them.
How is this Macklemoore character selling records tho ? This dude is practically platinum for crying out loud...... When did this happen ? I'm not tryna to hate or nothing I'm just trying to understand....
Did you hear that? It was the sound of white ppl taking over rap, just like they do with basically anything from black culture that becomes popular. The fact that they are white does play a large part in their success. There are plenty of independent business minded black artists that will never ever see those numbers.
