I was 6'2 230 lbs in high school and was one of the biggest players on my team. But i would have told the coach he soft to his face for something like that. I'd have to quit for rolling over like that. That's not football bruh.

This is moreso about parents......I know all them lil dudes aint scared....but most parents would like for their children to get thru this point in life with as little concussions and broken bones as possible....and the schools gotta keep the parents happy

lol, i watched my son @ 3 tackle a kid who was 7

that kid ready regardless

Smh. Disgusting.

I remember my stepbrother talking about being middle schoolers and getting destroyed by another squad where everybody was grown af with full beards and shit lol. Inspired them to step their game up and eventually slay that dragon.

What kind of fuckin message is a coach sending to young men with a bitch move like that?

I would've walked out on my team if we even considered quitting bc the other team was bigger or taller.

fuck that i remember having to cover Jason Avant in high school......my high school team had bout 15 players who essentially played 4 ways ...niggas literally never got out the game...and we still played any and everybody

SMH....unless you betting on your kid going pro and thats all ya'll got then I think its dumb and selfish to let them go get folded up just to prove some tough shit.....im not talking about losing a football game, im talking about injuries....serious shit

true....im not pulling from any factual knowledge base on this so I could be wrong, but I think its more likely with people who outweigh you by a classmate

thats some bitch shit..

take ur team on the road..

and by road i mean thousands of miles.. hit up the TX powerhouses.. CA.. FL.. Bishop Mont up here in Vegas..

Definitely not factual knowledge

I don't see shit wrong. Fucking school needs to move up and play teams up to their competition. Why the fuck you keep wanting to beat up on smaller teams? That's some bitch shit.

Football is a physical sport. Injuries will always be a risk of the game. Registrations always have a disclaimer. If that risk is too big in your eyes, don't play. But don't let that be an excuse for rolling over because your scared to lose our get embarrassed. Foh man. As a coach, that sends the worst message possible to your players.

Times are changing....

Maybe i look at it different cuz ive always been a pretty big guy. But if i was lined up against someone bigger than me, all that did was motivate me even more. I had good pee wee coaches in the city leagues that taught us to look at the game as more than just football. Its about teamwork, hard work, self reflection and perserverence. You qlways wont be bigger, faster, or stronger than the next man. But do your job to the best of your ability not just for yourself, but for the team. Out work the next man and dont be satisfied with mediocrity....

And that goes for everything you do in life. It geta hard....stressfull....you gonna encounter situations were their might feel like you have no hope, but never give up.....

And thats what they did...regardless of where ot came from. I would have ralllied the whole team and told them to threaten to quit unless they let us play bruh.

You come to practice every day to get better...you sacrifice your time as a kid to play the game when you could be doing other things. And yall aint gonna let us play cuz YALL scared of the outcome? Why even play at all then bruh?!

This just pissed me off lol

Shit I remember playing a team in little league from Texas. Texas had a weight limit. Louisiana at the time didnt.

I was at least 5'5" at 11 and I was not the biggest kid on the team. I want to say they weight limit had to be 90lbs. They called the game after we scored our 5 TDs on 5 plays. The another two TDs came when we literally started snatching the ball out of their players hands on defense. Shit was bad.

I coached little league here in Atlanta and we had four or fives kids moved up in age when they were actually two years younger. They were just way to advanced. Smarter, faster, and stronger.

In the end, Those schools are pussy for that. Look at IMG out of Florida. Them mfer recruiting nationwide.

Roster full of top talent from the south. Teams aren't running from them.

If the odds are against you and there's a good chance you will not win....just give up.

What my high school taught me
