Racism isn't something you can be born into, nor is it something you are by accident. Its a concerted effort to treat people differently.

What makes you say that?

1) its a behavior and attitude so its learned.

2) considering racism requires authority to mistreat an individual its not something you will do "accidentally." Note there is a difference between "accidental" and "ignorance."

Racism is a belief that there are hierarchal differences between races. That does not require authority.

I really get peeved when people start making up new definitions for words that have been around for centuries.

Anyone can have racists beliefs, not everyone's racist beliefs have any effects.

What was the point of this comment? Are you trying to marginalize the damage white leaders have done in Amerikkka under their belief of supremacy?

If not, then why argue semantics? We describe what you're referring to as "prejudice". The wording doesn't really matter as long as you grasp the concept of what's being discussed.

My definition is the sociological definition of racism. In sociology (and most of academia) racism, prejudice and bias are distinctly different concepts that emerge in different ways

Not everyone uses it the same way, though. Different writers use terms in different ways.

Yeah I realize this which is why I don't jump on people for it.

Fuck outta here munny. If everybody had treated white people the same way white people treated and schemed on everyone else y'all never woulda made it out of Europe. Europeans invented a lot of racism. Such as correlating brain size with national origin, correlating skin color with physical labor, correlating skin color with mental aptitude correlating dick size to animal proximity.

These are concepts that came out of European academia on a quest to justify robbing land and enslaving people while under a so called democracy.

Necessity is the mother of invention and wypipo were trying to find a way to make to conflicting ideologies exist in one bed.

What u just described is racism.

Munny: Anybody can have racist beliefs

Zuko: "Many of the racist beliefs and practices were inventions of Europeans. So no not just anyone can be racist because clearly people took mercy on struggling ass Europeans.

People always forget the economic arm of racism and limit discussions to attitudinal or anecdotal experiences. People forget to discuss how whites routinely sabotaged, legislated and outright murdered Blacks for daring to build any type for economic power and self sufficiency.
