Usually when you the minority you may not want to rock the bock and make your life their hell. So you may ignore it just to get through the school year. Now this was happening in the girls basketball team and who knows if she was the first black girl to ever play for the team.

matt does have a point, in today age its mostly NE states like the new England states or some Midwest bumble fuck state like the Dakota's where blacks and other minorities except Hispanics are rare.

Believe or not yes there are some southern schools who are still segregated but they are mostly all black and not all white.

Being a military kid thats lived everywhere I can't co-sign this shit enough. I think it's more because people in the south are fake and there are a lot more successful minorities in states like florida, georgia, and texas than there are in a lot of the east coast states I've lived in but that shit is so true. People in the northeast are the most racist people I've ever dealt with.....

I've never lived in the north, but I've been there several times. And the thing about the modern south (especially cities like Atlanta) Black people are in the majority in many of the major cities and we also RUN SHIT.

Playing ice hockey i hardly faced racism at all in my 10+ years of playing (current in my last year of collegiate club hockey). My younger brother who started 4 years after me had gotten more than double racism and hatred than me. There wasn't no whaddup my nigga type shit it was fuck you NIGGER and other slurs. Lets just say there were over 4 cases in 1 year of middle school hockey a few years ago. At the end of the day each kid got suspended big time had to write apology letters and shit but it kept happening different teams in different arenas as demands of USA hockey which i give props because they come down hard on racial slurs which unfortunately other sports dont.

White people know better but some (not all) of the current generation of kids likes to use the "im not being racist" or "i heard it in rap" type bullshit excuses. They want power to be able to say something they not socially is acceptable by their race. They are just as subliminal as some of these rapper disses but its clearly racist between the lines. And the problem is allot of white folks become "cool" with some uncle tom's and those black folk say aight you can say nigga around me which is fucking bullshit.
