Bro, i understand your Belief, and i hope u are right, but i dont trust Lienart one bit. In Foster (and Tate to a less extent) we trust. Lienart needs to make throws though, if not, teams will stack the box with 8 and dare Lienart.

No trolling necessary.Texans never made the play offs before and will get smashed if they do this season. They lack the experience of the other teams I mentioned.

The chargers? lol. the jets? lol they would "smash" the texans? I hope houston plays the jets and the ravens on the road to the superbowl.

The Texans could beat any of those teams. Now with matt leinart, Im not so sure.

First let me say that my "giving a fuck" levels are DANGEROUSLY low when it comes to Schaub or the Texans...

...Secondly, I find it funny that no one on here was mentioning Schaub amongst the best or even most valuable QBs in the league before the injury, and now suddenly he's John Elway-Manning-Montana Jr.

smh

Tell me, who currently has the number one ranked defense in the league? Ill wait..

And are you talking about the same Jets who just gave up 37 to the Patriots at home?

C/S. They act like the drop off from Schaub to Leinart is so much that we wont survive without him. What does he do that Leinart can't?

Happens all the time on here. Niggas hate on or ignore a player when they're healthy for whatever reason, but when that player is lost all of a sudden they claim that team "is done" and will never win a game again.

If he wasn't shit pre-injury, why is he "so important" now?

So basically, if you didn't think Schaub was a top 10 QB in the first place, you can't really clown now.

Cause let's face it, only top 10 QBs are TRULY valuable enough to change the total complexion of the team. Mid-tier and low-tier QBs have much less effect when they're gone.

For example, Trent Dilfer was by no means a top QB in the league when he played. And if he would've been hurt the year when the Ravens won it all, their fate wouldn't have been much different -- if at all.

If you disagree -- tell us all what makes Schaub so GOOD that makes him irreplaceable.

But that might be hard for a lotta niggas cause that will force you to say something positive. Can't have it both ways. Either he's a mid-tier QB that's replaceable, or he's a top QB that isn't.

Schuab is a good QB. yes he makes dumb decisions from time to time, but dude can read defenses pretty well. The only thing i hated about him was that he would under-throw alot of his passes. But it would be foolish to say you would rather have Leinart over schuab for the rest of the season.

But with that said, Leinart has no excuse for not succeeding. great run game, good defense, I think TE Owen Daniels will be his best friend. If he dosnt thrive in this offense and this current situation, then he needs to just retire and go hot tub shoppin in cali. Matt leinart is getting what many 1st round bust arent getting which is a second chance and a fresh start. But I wouldnt be surprised if the Texans give farve a call as a backup to Leinart. I hope not, but you never know. lol.

I dont think its unfair to say Schaub is a much more proven player than Leinart.

Is he a top 10 QB? Thats debatable, will MATT LEINART.. step in and run that offense as well as Schaub has been? I highly doubt it.

And dont get me wrong, Schaub has greatly benefited from the emergence of their rushing attack, but there still will be times when Leinart will have to make a play.

So the question is, when it comes down to Schaub or Leinart, are you really saying they are THAT interchangeable?

I'm not saying either way, cause I don't care either way.

What I do know is that there are plenty of "talented" QBs that are unemployed right now 'cause they're not good enough to be on a NFL roster. And if you ARE good enough to be on the 2nd string of a NFL team -- that means you're good enough to do a decent job in place of a "decent" QB.

Unless you think Schaub is better than "decent"....

Using the term decent can mean something different to both of us. Some people here act like if your name isnt Brady, Rodgers, Brees or Manning your not worthy of being called good.

If you want to only call Schaub decent, then what the hell do you call Leinart?

Good question, and that's my point.

Whatever you thought of (and posted) about Schaub PRE-injury should match what you're saying now.

That's all I'm saying.

I traded Larry Fitzgerald for Dre a few weeks back cause I had depth at WR on my fantasy team..

They keep pulling the plug on him playing the past few weeks but I been scraping together wins without him somehow.

Now Matt Schaub is gone.. Just when Dre is due back and healthy..

Leinart better look in Andre's direction all the time cause Fitz and Skelton combo making me second guess myself.

1. Nobody's giving Schaub that kind of hype. Bottom line is, he does alot for that offense and has ever since he's came to Houston. His health has always been the issue.

2. As for him not being mentioned among the best. That's what happens when you're on a team that never wins. Schaub is arguably top 10 and has been for the last 3 years. And he was still putting up good numbers despite playing most of the season with Johnson.

3. It's not as much hype for him as it is lack of belief in Leinart. That offense relies just as much on the pass as it does on the run. When you take that away, you're making it tougher to run.

4. rofl @ you comparing him to Dilfer.
