The writers went on to tease that certain events which occur in the third novel will be featured in the second season. Fans of the book know that the scene of Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) confronting prisoner Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) in the season one finale, is actually something that occurs in the second novel.

"It’s a lot of journeys. Jon Snow is wandering north of the wall with the Night’s Watch to find out what’s going on up there, and Theon Greyjoy is traveling to his ancestral homeland," said Benioff.

The producer went on to reveal that writers are likely going to be changing the name of Theon Greyjoy’s sister Asha for the TV show as well saying, "We’re a little bit worried about the Osha/Asha sounding too close together. So it might be a slightly different name."

Recent cast additions for season two include Stephen Dillane (John Adams, King Arthur) as Stannis Baratheon and Carice van Houten (Repo Men) as Melisandre. Even more recent additions include Liam Cunningham (Camelot) as the onion knight Davos, Natalie Dormer (The Tudors) as Margaery Tyrell and Gwendoline Christie as fan favorite knight Brienne.

Didn't realize it got nominated for 13 Emmy's.. including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister).

The Emmy's better not rip Dinklage off!

Just thought I'd keep y'all posted.

So I just decided to give Game of Thrones a spin........ and i am feening right now, lol. I'm surprised nobody talkin about King Robert had the greatest quotables of all time. That nigga throughout the entire season was like "I don't give a fuck how shitty a king I am. I'm gonna ball outta control, spend my kingdom's money into bankruptcy, and fuck these bitches and ur gonna stand there and enjoy it!". Son, during the joust when he drunkenly screamed "We've been sitting here for days. Start the damn joust before I piss myself", I almost flatlined.

What did he say after he slapped his bitch? It was priceless though.

Queen Bitch "I shall wear this like a badge of honor"
King Robertt "Wear it in silence, or I'll 'honor' you again"

The most etherous King Robert moment had to be when he was fucking those whores while Jaimie was forced to stand outside and guard the door.
