Young Blacks are perpetuating a lifestyle that was created out of desperation due to actions of groups such as the KKK which were part of and still are part of the greater white establishment. Parents born of ignorance passed on ignorance and only those who woke up to see the bigger picture against the odds were able to change their situation but at the cost of further alienating those left behind. In 2008 I lived in Los Angeles and would go out in Compton to see what all the hype was about. I was shocked to find that Compton was a quiet Community and nothing like what you see on tv.
