I had to. i was working in a mechanic shop and a kitchen. would be mainly dudes my age and we would say the most vulgar disgusting things in the world. then i got this office job and work with a bunch of old people. and in my regular speech i say a cuss word almost every sentence. You know that pause word when your trying to remember what your saying, most people say "um" or "uh" i say fucking. lol. Now that i work this job i feel like i dont talk to anyone or they're too old for my sense of humor.

i tried when i was younger but like they said on spongebob curses are like word enhancers some things just cant be expressed without that extra curse word.

for example road rage,or when you see a bad chick, i always think "i would fuck the shit outta her" i cant put it any other way.................

I have been trying it here and at home. I fall short when I'm a little upset tho. But I'm making progress.

i dont curse cause i'm mad or excited or something, i just use curse words in my everday speech...if you dont mean it in a disrespectful way, i think its okay. the problem rather is that most of the time the topic itself is something vulgar.

I've tried.

It's weird that I have no problem with not cussing when speaking to someone at work, but get me in comfortable surroundings and I can't help it.

I've definitely cut back now that my daughter is getting to that parrot stage. lol @ how creative you get when trying not to cuss in front of a kid.

Lol @ parrot stage. Kids especially is when I don't curse. if their parents do it then that's on them. I'm amazed at some of the things folks would say in front of their kids.

IRL, I don't curse at all. I used to when I got really angry but now not even then. Sometimes if I'm repeating what someone said, it may slip out but it's just not something that fits me. I would look weird cursing.

yea but it's part of my everyday speech so it never works. i can do it with no problems if i'm in a formal setting or around people that don't need to hear speaking like that.
