I think its all about what your saying if your saying the same damn shit on every album you need to quit. So eminem probably need to retire as well as jay-z , snoop dogg too. It doesn't have anything do with age. When you no longer can grow as an artist you need to quit .

I don't have a problem with old rappers, i have a problem with niccas in their 30's & 40's still behaving and making music like their still teenagers. If common wasn't so boring & wack he'd be a great example of what i expect from a 30+ year old rapper

I agree with you. However, hip hop isn't pushed as an adult contemporary genre like most other genres. When your primary demographic is 17 year old males, age, specifically youth, is a factor. Jay-Z talks about progression but a lot of his content is the same as Fabolous. SMH. I wish the game wasn't like this, but it is.
