Have you ever been or do you like attending Theatre Plays or Broadway Musicals ?

I love plays, but I'm split on musicals, some are real good, others I can't stand. My mom is an English teacher and we live near the Stratford festival so we go at least 3 or 4 times a year. Usually we see Shakespeare, like Antony and Cleopatra which were played by black actors this season

As for musicals I prefer to watch them as movies vs live. My favorite ever is probably Cabaret, it's about decadent 30's Berlin around the ride of the Nazis. All the songs are great and it's just overall entertaining. Liza minelli kills it in that one

Went to see Macbeth. It was actually dope. They don't call it Macbeth, they call it The Scottish Play. Its an old superstition about the name being cursed.

was on a cruise ship like a decade ago and walked into the theater where they had a musical that basically took a piece of some of the big broadway shows. On paper it sounds lame as fuck but seeing those people work their asses off for a performance on a damn cruise ship was pretty inspiring. Haven't seen any since though.

I went to the opera once to see Aida at the Met. The sets were cool as hell but everything else was kinda meh and I had no clue what they were saying since the translator things in the back of the seats weren't working.

I saw some multimedia version of A Dream Play by August Strindberg on a date but I had no idea what was going on. The sets were cool though and I knocked the boots so I guess it was worth it.

But when I was a kid I saw Sarafina on Broadway and that was dope.

Nutcracker with my Church years ago. Stage play called : Shear Madness @ The Blackstone Theater in the Chi. And some gay ass Alvin Ailey shit in ATL my girl dragged me 2. 15 minutes in left 2 get more alcohol and couldn't get back in until intermission! I was happy as fuck and she was pissed!
