Me and my mom see a bunch of plays, usually like 3-4 a year. Most recent one i watched was "To Kill a Mockingbird" which was pretty good.
We took my little brothers to go see this Live action Graphic novel, it was really awesome how they did it. I cant remember the name of it, but they had a gigantic screen behind them, then a cast of voice actors who would read their lines and the comicbook would be projected on the screen and change as the actors progressed their script. They also had a person sitting to the side that was surrounded by a ton of random stuff. Drums, kitchen utensils, and weird instruments, but she was the sound person and would make sounds to add dramatic effect to the story. An example, say someone in the story fell off of a cliff, she would do the whistling noise of someone falling, similar to wiley coyote when he falls in the roadrunner cartoon. It was really awesome how it was presented.
Seen a bunch of other ones but i cant remember them all.
We bought tickets to go see the play Little Shop of Horrors, but it doesnt come to town until February. Excited af for that though.
also seen a few super small plays, like one man shows or plays with small casts that play multiple characters.
Also went and seen a local improv group we have here in town, they were pretty funny. Few stand up shows too.
