I worked telemarketing in Philly during my freshman year at college for 2 weeks before I quit and started hustling.

The only good thing I can say about it is that I won tickets to Powerhouse for having the most sales.

Other than that, don't work in telemarketing if you can avoid it.

i did when i was 17. since the pay was good i couldnt complain but if i had continued i couldnt even imagine doin that shit for years. i only did for 2 months.

i was supposedly raising money for the "minnesota police and peace officer organization" goin to dead cops families but only 5% actually went to the cause the rest for our checks. in fact it might have even been 2%.

anyway one time i got pissed at a dude who was yellin at me for callin so i told him to shut the fuck up and suck my dick and he started yellin like a redneck so i hung up. another time some spick listened to my pitch which involved a dead cop who had recently died and he said he hates cops so he was glad he died. that shit pissed me off so much. and i was told my place of work would be sued if we called again another time.
