Nicki took a big gamble and went too pop on this album. I think that even she realized this and came out with the re-release but it was too little too late. She underestimated how her haters were waiting for her to make a move like that. She has a lot to prove on her next outing but its not too late. She doesn't have to completely go to grimey boom-bap she never was like that- she was always quirky and cute with it. But she seems to have put aside an edge that she had. I remember she did an interview with someone for her perfume.... I think it was that Perez Hilton dude and she talked about her rerelease and she was mad shy like "Its gonna be some of my harder material." And even HE was like he wanted to hear hard Nicki so I think she underestimated how many people like her mixtape texture.

Even with her Roman Reloaded album out in time, all of her promotional events (tour, American Idol, lipstick)-none of it was enough to snag her one nomination. Since not being nominated for any word, there’s a rumor going around that Minaj is considering boycotting the show altogether in protest. Happy Birthday Nicki!

Yea the album was a mess. But that song wasn't that bad and one of the few tracks that I tolerated from the album. The beat is solid but the song goes downhill with her terrible hook. But the album was a mess, then she did the Re-up and made the album worst:

You made mediocre music you dont get awards, you dont sell records. Since she forgot who she was, she makes very average plastic music.
