Arrogance lol so he wants these haters to eat him alive?

Arrogance is fine... Rap is 80% arrogance
The author just thinks without the level of music matching with the level of arrogance, it makes whatever you got sound worse than it would without it
Plus Wale do be unlikable on twitter

Yea, he really doesn't have a musical identity.
Lmao@ Him being emotional as fuck.

I still haven't heard a dope project from him since "The Mixtape About Nothing"
Dude is nice at rapping, I doubt his ability to craft a dope project though.

Cosign but I think he could put out a dope project if he stuck with one thing, or theme, or something..
cause he can rap.. but his weakness is trying to please so many genres that he ends up losing his point imo

so in other words wale is a corny, insecure, emotional, awkward bitch ass nigga.

who can rap, and needs to learn to be one thing... instead of a whole bunch of things

but yeah basically the author's point

Too bad 200k 1st week shits on that article.

He didn't say he was gonna flop.... he gave a review on the music and wale himself... not his popularity or lack of it

I use to feel that way about him when I heard Pretty Girls and Chillin. I thought for a nigga who complains a lot and is arrogant as hell his music is below average. I don't follow him on twitter, but whats wrong with respond to haters? Rihanna does it and so do other artists.

He probably doesn't like Wale but his points make sense and he's correct. I wonder if anybody, including him, will catch feelings from this

Wale does it consistently... he insecure (which wouldnt be a problem, that insecurity just don't translate into the music)... plus radio interviews and shit.. thinking he's entitled love without proving himself... at least according to the author.... but I agree to an extent

I get that. At the same time though, 200k people disagreed with some of those points. Strength in numbers.

Author questions his persona, yet, the end result, reeks of success. Maybe there was a method to the madness.

In terms of gaining popularity.... yeah probably.. though Ross helped a lot ( I give him a lot of credit for that)
But in terms of his actual music, the author questions whether the hype wale creates for himself adds up to his musical output. And when it doesn't, that author just calling him out, which Wale seems to hate
In terms of btichmade tendencies.. he follows that Kanye method.. who's the goat at that shit... except to a large amount of people Kanye consistently delivers on his boasts (The author uses jay as an a example here)

Well I think the article basically sums up why most people don't really fuck with Wale in general. He tries to be too many things.
At this point its whatever can be successful for him
I doubt he'll ever truly be respected in DC with all the hate he gets but its whatever
