i have to say harlem nights...but they were two different types of movies.

one had a plot the other was just a movie to make you laugh

one had generational actors

the other had cross generational legends

one had a famous rapper

the other had multiple famous people

No chris tucker, no friday. Harlem Nights wasn't so heavily carried by one person. Everybody ate in harlem nights. They let everybody shine, and still had room to spare. That nigga robin harris was in harlem nights and ain't do shit to make you laugh, it was like an all star game for black comedians. Not to mention, you had eddie murphy in the 80s..... IN THE 80s, if you too young to understand that. Take what Kevin Hart is doin right now, and put it on whatever Barry Bonds was on. They ain't come to play at all.
