I remember our J.V. Hoop team went to play these Hicks and the fans that sat behind us kept calling us names and saying little slick racist shit and everytime we turned around they would hide their mouths and we couldnt tell who was talking shit....one of them threw a piece of ice at us and when we looked to see who it was they all hid their hands...their anonymity was their safety.

another time we played this team from Uptown, they was brutha's and they talked MAJOR shit behind our bench and every time we turned around they let it be known who was talking shit and they looked us directly in the eyes while they did it, one of them threw a piece of licorice at us and when we turned around the dude that threw it said "I did it know what you wanna do"? their authenticity was their safety.
