Guys takes on the whole Nia Long fiasco

I think Scandal has emboldened alot of these women. Even before Scandal you have/ had sites like The Root, madam Noire, Beyond Black & White etc. These sites promote black women being with white men which I don't have a problem with. What's funny is the snarly undertone these black women on that site have. Like they're punishing brothers by being with a white man like n*ggas give a f*ck either way.

But a lot of you all do tho...

Speaking for myself I don't, infact I encourage black women to 'broaden their horizons' and try 'something new' since brothers ain't marrying them like that anyway. The least unwed group of females, least sought after group of females on dating sites...

I already spoke on this but I remember when a darkskinned videohoe 'leaked' pics of her with her white bf and soft n*ggas got emotional. It's hard to take n*ggas that worry about irrelevant sh*t like interracial dating serious.

Still, what i posted still stands and you know that. I haven't seen n*ggas start petitions to boycott black entertainers just for being with a whiteboy. I haven't seen them hate ad get irrational like how Wesley got hated on by blk women and you know this.

Wesley Snipes got hated on because he said he didn't want to come home and deal with a black woman's attitude, and I've never seen a actual boycott started by black women just because an actor was dating or married to a non-black woman.

No call for petitions to boycott black male entertainers for being with a non-black partner you say? Because I like you as a poster I'll give you a window to edit this.

I'm not changing anything, she pitched an idea to the Malcolm Lee, he liked it and went with it, end of story. There was no clout throwing nor fighting. I'm not saying she right for asking for white love interest, all I'm saying she was not the decision maker so why is the video makers beef SOLELY with Nia Long? Why isn't he attacking Malcom Lee or any of the other producers of the film?

Really don't care for nia long supposedly requesting for her love interest to be white ...seen the movie and it just came off as a cheap gimick for the most part...

What i also thought was funny was nia longs character arc...first movie she was the headstrong, "independent", career driven blk woman who couldn't find a blk "good man"... 10 yrs later, she's an accomplished exec who found love and acceptance from a white man... Nothing new, but still funny none the less...just felt like it subtly perpetuated the myth of the white man as a savior

Ancedotal ....but yea same here....most my family, friends/coworkers who are blk are married or in serious relationships with other blks

And just looking at the Census data proves all the propaganda that blk women are not "marriage material", blk men and women suffer from this deep divide is either not true or the numbers were taken outta context
