ASAP Mob has better rappers than Bricksquad and Asap Ferg's five song discography is objectively better than Gucci Man's and you can't prove otherwise

Who?...French, OJ, Gucci, Waka, Slim(RIP), Ice Burgandy, and hell een Young Scooter...All them niggas got good songs/verses...And I like ASAP, but only 3 of em really done anything worth talmbout...And that includes Ty Beats...As much as I like that "Work" song...Gucci got throw away tracks better than that...

I always wondered what slang he was talking about..

He was questioned about that a few years ago on the radio and he sidestepped the question and kept talking about how southern rappers wasn't getting that much love from the East coast, how he was the only one fucking with Wu-Tang affiliates (Sunz of Man) in N.O. and yadda yadda yadda..

Classic song though..

SMH at NY niggas talking about trap, Bin Laden should crash a plane into these niggas whole movement
I'm not a fan of that either but everybody talk about Hustling, Bboy, DopeBoys, etc. Pretty much the whole country biting NY by doing Hip Hop.

So trap muzik is hip hop now since wack ass NY niggas wan't in on it and see it has been damn near 10 years since a nigga named a album Trap Muzik, then another nigga came with a Trap or Die Movement?

Huh?

25197342.jpg

Are u stupid nigga? KRS, Run DMC and those types did not talk about hustling and selling dope. You basically trying to say trap muzik is now a legit form of hip hop after you wack ass NY niggas hated on that shit for years.
I'm not going to give you a history lesson on Hip Hop, fuck it a short one.

Hip Hop(no such thing as NY Hip hop imo) always had talk about hustling, street shit etc but of course those artist weren't market as much because Hip Hop was still striving for mainstream acceptance. Russell didn't tell his artist what to say but he was about making that bread.

Trap always been legitimate even if most of the artist was ass, but I actually think trap music doesn't even exist anymore. Trap music use to be about the TRAP now it's just a beat style.

My whole point is that people try to put NY artist in a box(boom bap) as if NYC doesn't have the most diverse sounds in Hip Hop. Now I think people do that because they have they own self interest to look after but if these NY guys can out trap all the trap artist and make "better" trap music then why shouldn't they? If the whole world can bite NYC by making Hip Hop, why can't NY artist borrow from where ever the hell they want to?

Don't fear the competition.

Trap isn't only about a beat style it is a style of rap sonnet wise. It is heavily based off of wordplay. Wordplay has always been a part of rap but the way T.I. and Jeezy was doing that shit when they built the trap niggas said was wack at one time now everyone is basically doing it. I can remember vividly.

Trap use to be about the up and down of the game, now it's just beats. I thought T.I and and Jeezy was garbo but they made improvements. Jeezy always got love in NY and the reason why these artist truly blew up is because NY fucked with them(more so Jeezy, Wayne, Ross than T.I). I still remember when people called Jeezy Lil Jeezy then Hov and Fab put that stamp of approval and 2x plat.

Trap music is wack though.

Trap muzik was never wack and I don't think your statement is accurate. Diddy gave T.I. one of his first big co-sign's, he thanked Jada Kiss on one of his first albums. My biggest is that NY is the truly wack region. It's like they are God to hip hop they created the shit then the West and South came along and destroyed it in there opinion and they have not done anything else.

They forgot the lessons God destroyed man because he saw that all his desires were evil. They should have destroyed the shit themselves or atleast realized early when that part of the book was over and moved on but all they ever did was complain about competition but you want to tell me don't fear competition. You must be a NY nigga that has finally realized how wack you all are when it comes to this?
