Aye, "The What" is my favorite song on RTD.

It was very New Yorkish.

Big and Meth had great chemistry going in and out like that.

Not only that. But Meth really stayed up there with Biggie lyrical wise..

We all know about Nas and his lyrical ablities.

This is considerably, the greatest album in Hip Hop.

but AZ owns one of the greatest verses on the album.

"Visualizin the realism of life and actuality

Fuck who's the baddest a person's status depends on salary

And my mentality is, money orientated

I'm destined to live the dream for all my peeps who never made it
"

Shit was amazing.

I'm going with "Lifes a Bitch".

AZ was the most underrated artist of the 4, and still had the best verse.

I vote "Lifes a Bitch".

But i really really liked "The What" though.

Like i said .. My favorite track on Ready To Die.

Good Question.

Illmatic. but it's a closecall with Ready to Die.

Great features for 2 of the most classic albums ever. Meth and AZ should collab on Doe or Die 2. two of the illest flows ever known might work well together.

AZ flow is elite.

and Meth's flow in a 2009 radio freestyle (aimed at joe budden) is still iller than 90% of rappers:

noooooooo az flow aint elite. imma flow scientist and if u wanna go toe for toe we can. i can teach u some shit, and meth lyrics improved through the years but i think the reason he fell off is because he lost his flow.

If AZ's flow is average, I wanna know who's elite.

To the OP, I say Illmatic. Ready to Die was great but had one or 2 songs that I don't think is classic.

Only taking the feature into account, AZ and Illmatic takes it. The format of "The What" hurts Meth's case as it was mostly he and Big sharing verses. AZ got one verse to himself, went first, and ripped it.

If you want to talk about which album is better though that's a totally different topic. It's not like either of these features is what makes the difference between the two albums.
