if there are copycats this could fuck up hip hop in the long run tho. Touring is the jugular vein for a rappers promotion and income. Venues always have been weary of hip hop artists fearing violence (even though death metal and small venue rock concerts are more dangerous).

If rappers become marked targets like ross has been recently and other rappers then venues will think twice about certain artists performing. As hip hop fans you won't get to see your favorite rapper who is doing a small scale tour. This is one incident and regardless of who was the target or if its random should it continue it will fuck up the money for rappers and hurt fans from seeing rappers perform as often.
