I don´t think Pac choose to join MOB Piru HE HAD NO CHOICE.Let´s look at his situation.

-Was in Jail for rape

-Suge bails him out

-Suge gives him a record deal and a fresh new start

-Pac has nobody around him plus got shit 5 times no protection no money

-Pac joins Death row

-Death row is legal/ilegal company

-Death row works like the MOB get down or lay down

-Pac chose to get down for protection and just embodies the lifestyle

Pac was ushered in this lifestyle I think if he had the time to think about the possibilities he would have not joined the Piru gang.He was delusional, lonly, young and felt betrayed and scared.Bunch of people trying to fuck him and take his money.Got sued numerous times and NY was trying to kill him.Sad very sad.

You always have a choice in life, always

Stop thinking like a victim

What could have been his alternative.Everyone was being extorted. When he said no to extortion in NY he got popped. He had no choice but join a click or he would get clapped again. The same thing that´s happening now.Maybe these artist are not turning gang related because they really wanted to.

What could he have done? How about not hang around gangsters doing gangster things?

How about not go around being cocky, arrogant and fucking with the wrong people. How about stay on that positive vibe he was on with me against the world album? Why not click up with nation of Islam, like they held him down after the nyc shooting?

Why not Fuck with a new black panther group? There are lots of things he could have done besides run with mob piru bloods and glorify that shit.

I'm not hating a love Pac, he was/is great. But he made a CHOICE to run with those folks.

You always have choices in life. If you don't like your circumstances, then do everything in your power to change them. Pac is a grown man and made a CHOICE.

I think a more accurate assessment is he was in a very compromising position and his options were very limited. There was only one person who got him out of jail. I think thats why he was so loyal to him/them. And why he was "fcking with the wrong people" As far as being "cocky and arrogant" He was what he was. Thats the thing about dude its why he made such great music. Its not so easy to change someones personality and who they are. Sometimes its not so easy as too look at somebody else's life and have all the answers about what they should or should not have done. Its one of those things people tend to realize as they get older.

On one hand i get your point about choices, on the other hand I been around long enough to know its not so easy as having all the answers for what someone else "should have done". Real life aint really like that. Making different moves and changing who he was and he wouldnt have made the art he did.It was the whole picture.

I'm not, nor any where did i say, that he SHOULD do anything. He can do whatever he wanted to do.

I'm just pointing out he made a CHOICE to do those things. People make choices. Ol boy said "tupac had no choice." He is not some innocent pawn being moved around in life with no control... He made many stupid choices that led to his death. He chose to run with the piru bloods, he chose to run across mgm lobby and stomp out Orlando. He chose to go into a car with suge knight and no bullet proof and Windows down. He chose those things.

I'm not sitting here saying he should have done anything other than what he felt like. But let's not act like the only path he had was to join up with a bunch of bloods. There are lots of things he could have done.

In life you have only one person whose actions you can control, and that's your own. If you are implying tupac had no control over his life and was forced into doing all these dangerous things but hee didn't make that choice by himself... Then he's better off dead. Because he didn't have no got damn freedom, and who wants to live life without freedom of masking your own choices.

Again, I'm not saying what he should have done. How can i tell anyone what to do? But i can certainly call what they did, a choice they made, when they running around repping a gang and beating down crips on camera, and so on. Who made him do that, if not himself?

never understood dead legends being popular because they terrorizing hoods.

The "Outlaw" vibe always intrigued people. Even honkys rooted for the villan in western movies, and real life figures like bonny & clyde got mythologized. Even kids seemed to be "impressed" by that one nigga who had that "i dont give a fuck about nothing" attitude at school.

A guess people are sometimes intrigued by people that go against the grain.

I wouldn't call what Supreme supposedly did to E-money treating him like a lil nigga or doing dirty business.

If I sale you a car and you drive it for a few days and then come back to me and say I want my money back.

Me telling you no ain't me treating you like a lil nigga or doing dirty business. You can sale to the car to somebody else and move the fuck on. I don't have to give you the money back. Shit don't work like that.
