It hurts me to vote against Warren G's classic but thinking about how ahead of its time BGAB was and how vivid the story is from a story telling prospective....I have to give the match to Pac for if nothing else what his joint meant consciously to a social issue that still plagues the ghettos across america (come on. Most of us know a Brenda) where as I dont feel like alotta people can relate to getting jux getting caught slippin in the wrong part of town. I mean i can relate cuz I ve always had a balance of streetlife in me and been though some shit but i think Brenda got a baby touches more of main stream america. You had child rape issues, abortion issues, and a sad ending evolking more emotions so from a food for thoughts perspective...brenda got a baby is the much deeper song.

@ the bolded. Brenda's Got A Baby might be the more "deeper song". But how often do you listen to it? Seriously does anybody on the IC drive around bumping Brenda's Got A Baby?

I can picture myself driving around LA bumping Regulate, but I can't think of any scenario where I'd be driving around with the top down bumping Brenda's Got A Baby.
