I never found SNL funny at all EVER. It's like old people humour and political shit you have to be in tuned with to get the joke SMMFH. Chappelle Show is classic. SNL in other areas might win off the strength of how long it's aired but it's not that funny.

SNL just took the National Lampoon Comedy Hour's whole swag (including writers, staff and on air talent) and put it on TV. It's one of the most unoriginal but iconic media franchises ever.

SCTV deserves a mention in here too but I vote Chappelle. Mad TV had great moments and so did ILC while SNL was never the same after the 90s. Chappelle was consistent all the way through in 2 years.

SNL is definitely the most corny of the options but the host & music guests carry it every week.

It was actually funny to me in the Sandler, Farley, Spade, ect era.

I work weekends so i see it every week. The only thing thats worth watching really is Weekend Update.

I never liked MadTV tho. Never appealed to me

Although it had the shortest run just about every single episode had something memorable or quotable. It was very consistent throughout the first 2 seasons. Never all the way corny like them off brand key and peele niggas.

In living color not far behind but Dave touched a lot of people just saying and doing real nigga shit.

Aye Key and Peele have funny skits. Nobody is trying to call them the greatest though and they have never tried to be Chappelle show. They're funny they just have lots of misses too because they aren't afraid to take a chance and go extra far committing to some goofy weird shit. If it works its hilarious if it doesn't it 3 minutes of wtf and silence. They are NOT stand up comics though so thank god someone told them that 2 man standup shit they used to do to introduce skits had to stop. It was much better when they switched to just shooting the shit in the car. I was sad when they ended that show.
