Only 28. Too young. Even though I rather live as common spouse, marriage is a money eating institution anyway.

If I ever DO, it will be around 32-35, sounds about right for me personally.

What do you mean marriage is a money eating institution? Depending on how and who you marry, you'll actually come up to some extent.

Knowing what I have seen about women, I think about those times of coming home from work to someone with an attitude. Those times where I want to save money and get that smaller lower priced house and not add that stress of trying to keep up but she wants the fancy house. Just all the things like that. When Im cool single. Having sisters had its issues but one thing is I got the chance to see how females operate.

Not yet, but will be in a year.

We've been dating for 5 years. She's my best friend, and one of the few people who keeps it all the way real with me. Had a family member pass while in school, and I started not giving a fuck about anything. She held me down, and pretty much made sure I got my degree. One of the reasons I want to provide for her and give her the fam she wants. We're having a little girl here soon, and I want her to be in a 2 parent household were daddy and mommy are both married.

Yes, I'm currently married to my best friend. I met him in the AUC when I attended Spelman College, as he attended Morehouse College; we've been inseparable ever since. As you project from your youth things become more spiritual and mental than physical, thus the bond I have with my husband is just something amazing. My relationship with my husband is more than sex, even though we are more sexually active than when we dated. My husband is all about nation building and planting seeds; leaving a legacy for the future generations of our descendants (he talks about it all the time), thus the fear that most Black men have he don't have. Plus both of his parents are married like mine so he sort of seen and knew what it is to be a Black man growing up. While everything hasn't been perfect like now... I'm working on my masters, while he's working on his Ph.D which is basically like having two jobs. I wouldn't trade what I have in for nothing in the world.

how many times a year you cheat on him tho?

7-7-17.

I'll be 34 by then. Can't wait to be married, honestly. The wedding itself.....meh. All I'd really like is just a nice party (with an open bar) without this long, drawn-out pomp and circumstance shit.
