but listening to AB, he did low key jack Ghost's style and content. Folks may say nah, he didn't jack the content, but if you really listen, he tries to speak in that slanguage that Ghost/Rae/RZA/Cappa speak; that odd speak that you have to sit and decipher after a few listens to get the story he's telling.

I always hated that misconception about Shyne "he tries to sound like Big" or "he's a poor mans Biggie", nah he had a similar voice that's about it, Gorilla black on the other hand tried to sound and flow just like Big
i always felt that Puff was trying to capitalize on the death of BIG by creating a clone, and knew listeners would eat that shit up. It was too close to BIGs death that Shyne came out (Total's Sitting Home remix) for his voice to be too much of a coincidence or natural. Even Puff's intro on the Sitting Home remix says "the man you all been waiting to hear", that goes to show that he was trying to feed the fiends and C.E.B. not caring what he just unleashed.

Angelous sounds like Jay-Z, and never had a true career because of the voice and flow. Even down to the mannerisms, Angelous was biting Jay and got blackballed.
A young Ali Vegas could flip between a Jay-Z and Nas flow, and he even sounded like Nas in his delivery. He was regarded as the next Prince of Hip-Hop, but trouble with his label and Trackmasters killed his career.
Krazy out the N.O. sounded like 2Pac, and only stayed regional
Cormega had a dude named Miz (Legal Hustle) that had the cadence of Jay-Z but nowhere near the flow. Also Mega had a chick named Dona (Legal Hustle) who folks thought was Foxxy Brown, but he shelved her because she couldn't get a buzz. If you Google her, you'll see another style that Nicki Minaj bit in her early days in terms of dress. Nicki straight stole her look early.
That's just a few off the top that I can think of. But today's rap scene tolerates and don't care what you sound like; even if one man is biting the next or someone before them. They getting away with too much shit that was punishable by career death 15-20 years ago.

I remember being in school and hearing that Biggie had a gospel album. Kats blew that shit off, but it turned out that a few years later, when said gospel album dropped, B.B. Jay, a gospel rapper, sounded exactly like BIG from cadence to flow. I scooped the CD up from BMG for 1cent and I'll be damned if dude didn't sound exactly like BIG. He even had an ear for beats, which made it even more listenable. I guess someone was in the studio and dropped a dime in the street that someone sounding like BIG was doing positive music, so be on the look out.
these new rappers be taking styles from OGs and sweeping them under the rug, never paying homage, and making them seem non-existent. then they get mad and defensive when they get called on that shit, wanna call a G old, irrelevant, other bullshit, to keep eating off another mans style.
it all boils down to disrespect. they say the OG doesn't respect them, when it's the other way around, it's the new G that's being disrespectful by ignoring their history and roots.

I wanted to summarize all of this. Ghost is not in his fucking prime now we all know . But action is still not better than what Ghost is now at this age . Action was only embarrassing to say this kind of stupid thing . I'm glad Papa Wu made Action leave Sean Price wake when I think about it . Even the video that Ghostface did was crazy fun and it's already a fucking classic.
