You cant get sucker punched in a boxing match .... especially after commiting a flagrant action. Pleasantries are for ceremony before the fight.. and sometimes during the fight.. he tainted those pleasantries.. and let his guard down in the killzone.

Cortez was very indecisive no doubt.. But dont "apologize" 3 times.. he dapped him twice.. hugged him kissed him.. and the moment of the KO he lingered there for way to long.. took one shot then roughly 1.5 seconds later he took another 1.5 seconds is a long time.

It seems to me after they dapped up Mayweather put his hands up protecting his face when Ortiz tried to hug him. Didn't seem like Mayweather knew what he was doing for a second.
