bruh you can post all the shit you want
the fact still remains that the most heard of shit from your side of the south is bullshit
and it's fucked up because every part of the south has had a movement or a great artist represent them
but atlanta's great artists and movements get overshadowed by pink sprite sippers and duck face tattoo getters

In this state of hip hop, I think that goes for every region. Most of the stuff that blows up, is bullshit. Most cities and their great artists get overshadowed by dumb shit (besides Chicago, Ye holds it down)

Being from New York and living in the A on and off since '94, Atlanta's club scene and nightlife is what drives it's sound. Raheem The Dream, B-Rock & The Biz, Kilo Ali, DJ Taz have all layed the groundwork for guys like Future, Roscoe Dash, J Futuristic etc. While rap scenes from Houston (Suave House & Rap A Lot), Memphis (Three 6, Playa Fly, Gangsta Pat), and New Orleans (No Limit) had influence on Atlanta; it's the night life that drives the music. For instance," Racks" gained it's momentum because stripclub and regular nightclub dj's fucked with it hard causing radio dj's to fuck with it.
