Yeh, but only after being rejected from Art school twice, being homeless, fighting in the army, being wounded, surviving a mutiny, staging a failed coup, being imprisoned, and then taking eight years to reach chancellor.RodrigueZz;6073723 said:Just a few years for his party to win a majority of seats, then he named himself dictator.
Pretty easy to me.

So after those 26 years it took for him to finally reach chancellor at 44, he only had 12 more years till his death.

Cosign. Word on the street is that he killed himself--not because the Allied Forces were closing in--but because he thought about how his biography would read.RodrigueZz;6073793 said:Damn. When you read it all out like that his whole life was just loss after loss

Shootings left at least four men dead and 9 other people wounded across the Saturday night and Sunday morning.
The violence was largely confined to the South and West Sides and three of the incidents had more than one victim, according to authorities.
The most recent shooting happened about 4:01 a.m. in the Cabrini-Green neighborhood - just north of Chicago Avenue on Cambridge Avenue. Two men, one 25 and the other either 23 or 24, were shot and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The older of the two was dropped off there and died of his wounds, and the other was taken there in an ambulance with a wound to the leg.
Someone shot up a birthday party about 1:50 a.m. in the Altgeld Gardens housing complex in the 600 block of East 131st Street, hitting four people. One, a 28-year-old man, died at the scene. Two others were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center: a 40-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman. A 22-year-old man was dropped off at Metro South Medical Center in Blue Island and is in stable condition. The man and woman at Christ hospital are both in serious condition, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office refused to release the name of the dead man.
A man was killed in Englewood about 11:30 p.m. Saturday Someone fired at least six shots toward him inside a Marathon gas station at the corner of 71st Street and Ashland Avenue. Ohio Gun Group Raising Money To Buy George Zimmerman A New Gun, Send Message To Eric Holder
George Zimmerman may not get his gun back, but an Ohio group’s got him covered: they’re going to buy Zimmerman a new one.
The Buckeye Firearms Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that advocates for the Second Amendment, is soliciting donations to replace Zimmerman’s weapon and accessories following his acquittal for the shooting of Trayvon Martin. The gun was supposed to have been returned to him following the conclusion of the trial, but the potential for further charges to be filed by the Justice Department means the weapon used in the shooting remains in evidence.
Writing on its website, the BFF called the government’s retention of Zimmerman’s possessions an “unacceptable abuse of power,” and accused Attorney General Eric Holder of exploiting the case to further his gun control agenda:
The threats of federal charges on civil rights grounds is little more than blatant pandering for political gain.
Moreover, based on statements he and others have made recently, Holder hopes to use this as the first step toward renewing this administration’s attack on gun rights.
To be fair to all concerned, we have remained silent during the Zimmerman trial. We allowed the evidence to unfold and the justice system to run its course. Now the jury has spoken and that should be the end of the matter.
George Zimmerman has every right to get his property back.
And if Eric Holder chooses to deny Mr. Zimmerman that right, Buckeye Firearms Foundation will remedy the matter by purchasing a NEW FIREARM for him, including a holster, flashlight, and any other gear he wants.
The Buckeye Firearms Foundation most recent project was to give 144 local schoolteachers firearms training.

Put Jesus Above Our Blackness’: Guess Which Pastor Has a Blunt Message Following the Trayvon Martin Outcry
Pastor Ken Hutcherson's story both inspires and captivates audiences. The faith leader, who recently participated in Glenn Beck's "Man in the Moon," has battled terminal cancer for years -- and has had a fascinating journey when it comes to his views on race relations in America. Considering this latter element of his story, Hutcherson is speaking out in the wake of the George Zimmerman verdict.
After opening a recent op-ed with a Martin Luther King Jr. quote about speaking the truth, he warned readers that what he was about to say wouldn't be popular, polite or safe -- but that it is, in his view, "right." From there, he dove right in to the tragic Trayvon Martin saga.
"When you have a young black boy who is killed by what some are calling a white Hispanic, and Jackson and Sharpton (of the PPA or the Poverty Pimps of America), and a liberal media involved, you have the equivalent of nitroglycerin," Hutcherson wrote. "Oh by the way, I never heard of 'white Hispanic' before but I guess this fits the bill in this case. This incident only needed someone to light the fuse. Why is this true because black people are involved?"

The preacher went on to state his agreement with some of Dr. James Manning's sentiments surrounding George Zimmerman and the Martin case. As you may recall, Manning delivered a controversial message proclaiming that African Americans are viewing the world -- and the Martin case -- through their "black eyes" and that they need to start looking, instead, through the "blood of Jesus."
Hutcherson continued:
I believe Dr. James Manning hit it on the head when he said that black people have a difficult time accepting truth simply because they are black. That's right, black people are involved and it is impossible for the average black person to believe the truth. They refuse to believe that a black boy could be in the wrong when it comes to a white Hispanic. Blackness is the apex of victimhood and our blackness is above truth, above our Christianity, above our God, above our Holy Spirit, so that means if our blackness is above the Holy Spirit, then it is above Truth. This is so important for everyone to know this so they can understand why this Trayvon and Zimmerman case is where it is today and why blacks refuse to believe what really happened.
The preacher, who also highlighted the actual events that he believes might have taken place between Zimmerman and Martin, went on to say that African Americans need to "put Jesus above our blackness" if they want to be the "great people" that they truly are. Hutcherson also implored African Americans to take action, to help promote change and to alter the conversation about racism in America.
Read the pastor's article here. In addition to Hutcherson and Manning, the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson also recently took a similar view, making controversial comments during a heated exchange with CNN's Piers Morgan last week.
