Radio personality Tom Joyner has offered Rachel Jeantel, the friend of Trayvon Martin who spoke to him shortly before he died, a full scholarship to any Historically Black College or University she chooses.

Not sure how viable it is. You have to have some sort of power and money to really get laws changed. Also, I'm not sure anyone is going to consider our thoughts or opinions on laws. Even on the remote chance we succeed, It is only correcting the symptom, and not the cause.

I'd say it's "viable" in the sense that it has the best chance of preventing similar killings from being legal in the future.

Although getting laws to change at the state level can be easier, I don't think it'll actually happen in this case.

Hmmm that was cool. The demonization of Tray began before Zimmerman was even arrested though. The concept of him deserving to be shot is also floating along as this whole mess continues, it's almost as if there was no way for him to win.

Putting the victim on trial is always the defense but rarely is it so effective to the point that people forget dude was a kid...or that all he was doing was walking home....or that he didnt have a weapon not doing anything remotely threatening.

To me thats really the crime here, that black kids simply can't seem to do shit right in the eyes of some people.
