Can't do that... there's a presumption of innocence and you have the right to remain silence... as a result, the have no obligation to take the stance in your own defense. The State must prove that you are guilty... at this point and at the time of the closing arguments, the state has a 50/50 chance...

I wouldn't have taken the stand either... but then again as a Black man the presumption of innocence, is a farce
