The letter of the law and the requirements to convict...and their stance that the prosecutions entire presentation has not fulfilled the requirements (proven the charge beyond a reasonable doubt)

The fact that you can't prove who started the PHYSICAL confrontation

Add in a reminder of Zimm's bitchassness and try to prove that his fear of imminent death or great bodily harm was reasonable.

Other shit about Zimm being truthful and forthcoming with info...not trying to lie...inconsistencies were immaterial, etc.
