I love how the media is turning on Trayvon now and purporting this image of him as being some vicious thug who just attacked zim for no reason.

I love how many white ppl are acting as though Trayvon had no right to be fearful and defend himself against a man who followed him in a vehicle in the dark and then pursued him on foot after he ran.

I love how everyone wants to focus on Trayvon smoking weed (OMG, what kind of animal thug does that?) or his school records, or any incident where he got into trouble as if any of this mattered that night as he was not committing a crime. Yet, zims domestic violence charge, his assualting an officer charge and anything else he did as a grown ass man seems to be irrelevant. Granted, the cases were closed, but nobody finds that strange considering his pop was a magistrate?

I love how some white ppl are commenting about how he was on suspension and basically should have been on house arrest. Saying that the parents should have had better control of him. The kid was walking home from the damn store. Ironically, it's perfectly fine legally and morally to question random people on what they are doing in this great land of the free country

Lastly, I REALLY love how some white ppl are screamin they're the victim of racism or this has nothing to do with race are contradicting themselves with their prejudice ass comments

A 17 y/o black male who got into some minor trouble is a thug

A 17 y/o white male could kill a bunch of innocent people at random and be considered a troubled teen

If zimmerman had killed a white 17 y/o, then he would be a dirty mexican illegal who should be hung and his body sent back across the boarder. But since he killed a young black male, and due to their own ridiculous fears and prejudice, he's their fucking hero

In two weeks NFL training camps open up.

Next month the College Football season starts.

The people who are bashing Trayvon will once again "deify" the young men who play these sports (and others), who've had similar experiences/upbringings to Trayvon Martin.

For people to continue to disregard this dichotomy is sad.

Race will always be an issue in this country.

It's 2013 and Black people still want the little things like justice being served (in this case, and others like Oscar Grant's etc).

Black people should keep all of this in mind the next time some "terrorist" decides to fuck shit up, and the "We are all Americans" and "We should come together" taglines gets paraded around.

I talked about something similar to that in the reason thread not too long ago. Someone was shitting on how blacks in the south defending the confederate flag like the American flag is any better.

as a defender of the confederate flag, i would still say the the Confederate States of America really is a bit worse than the modern day usa

i have said it before an ill say it again....black people can say nigga...and every other race calls each other the slur for that race. they just dont others saying the slur.

thats a broad generalization there. Yes, people put athletes up on a pedastal, but don't act like it doesn't go both ways. Dudes like Lebron James and Dwight Howard get roasted all over the world for being perceived as punks. Chris Johnson gets clowned cause he's nothing more than Plap Star who can run a 4.2 40yd dash. Cam Newton gets tons of hate, due to legal issues and just acting like a punk sometimes. Michael Vick was never fully embraced by people, even before the dog fighting stuff. I really dont' have time list all the folks who contradict what you are trying to say. time for recess.
