A George Lopez set turned ugly after the comedian’s attempt at humor rubbed one fan the wrong way. “There’s still two rules in the f**king Latino family,” the stand-up veteran said at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix. “Don’t marry somebody black, and don’t park in front of our house.”
The crowd’s giggles screeched to a momentary halt as the Mexican actor turned his attention to an audience member who reacted with a flip of the middle finger, TMZ reports. “Sit your f**king a** down. I’m talking b***h. Sit your f**king a** down,” Lopez retorted in his swear-filled tirade. “You paid to see a show. Sit your a** down. You can’t take a joke, you’re in the wrong motherf**king place.”
Amid cheers that offered no sympathy for the fan on display, the former late-night talk show host proceeded to give an ultimatum, but by that point both parties were completely through with each other. According to a recent Twitter post, the comedian doesn’t look like he has plans to change his stance on the matter.
