All IC set tripping aside, I got no beef with Littlefinger, but y'all Triggerfingers stay giving him too much credit. He didnt mastermind half the shit you claim he did. He jumped ship time and time again to save his ass and stood in the background while others did the dirty work and called the shots. That makes him two things....a sidekick and a snake. Yes, he played it BEAUTIFULLY. But for the first time in 6 seasons, Petyr Baelish played his hand. He's no longer some pimp running a whorehouse pretending to be everyone's friend and conning them into thinking he supports their cause for the Throne. He finally has a vested interest. He's running with the Knights of the Vale and calling shots for House Arryn. He sided with the Starks. The Freys and the Lannisters are coming for his ass now and the Starks still will never fully trust him as indebted as they may be. Everyone's starting to get hip to his game. He gained an army, but his power.

He's a habitual line stepper and he finally stepped across that line.

Aint nobody being choosy. He's played his game MASTERFULLY, but yall acting like he made all these moves on his own. He turned on Ned to keep the Lannisters in power. He didnt mastermind Joffrey's death, he assisted Lady Olenna. He didnt start making power moves for himself til last season. I give him props for bankrupting King's Landing. He did that all on his own and no one was able to pick up on it. Not even Tywinn.

Obviously in the grand scheme of things, Littlefinger has always been making moves for himself. But he's always been able to hide that by making sure someone else was the primary beneficiary who could take the target off him. That was his greatest asset. He had every set thinking he was their wild card, but that's over now. His favorite line that he likes to use "I live to serve" aint gonna fly no more. He officially made himself a player in the game and put a target on his back.

If yall cant see that Littlefinger's biggest mistake was making himself a player, then I cant help you. He's beenin the perfect spot, played a near perfect game, but that aint good enough for him. Sidenote: I hope like hell we get another Littlefinger/Varys scene. The dialogue between them are some of the best scenes of the show.

Yea, season 5 ep 6. When Cersei and Littlefinger are discussing. Then he reveals to her that Sansa is still alive and "reportedly" marrying Ramsey. As if he didn't have a hand in it.

Then he says that their will be a war without Cersei having to lose any soldiers.
