I didn't like that blackfish couldn't even get an onscreen death. Bruh was just like "yea he died fighting" smh. He was gonna die anyway but at least have him saying some G ass last words.

Exactly. No onscreen death of Arya's rival. No seeing how you she manages to outwit the GoTerminator. All that training, episodes waisted, with zero payoff.

lol the payoff was that bitch being dead. What the hell were you going to see anyway? Their fight was in the dark. Anyway, they did that to build tension. We didn't know who died up until Arya started talking. That said, we all probably knew Arya would win, which kinda shows how far this show has fallen off from the "Anyone can get it" feel it had before.

That doesn't make any sense at all

What doesn't make sense about it? At one point, they were killing off characters that were built up to be primary characters left and right. That has settled some. The major characters have been pretty safe. The one that they did kill (Jon) came back. My point was that the way they cut from the fight and went to the temple just showing traces of blood was meant to build up tension, but it didn't really work, at least for me, because I full expected that Arya survived. If it was Season 2 or 3, I wouldn't have had that expectation.

Like I said you don't make any sense expecting every major character in peril to die like they usually do is stupid there is nothing wrong with main characters actually survive conflict and there has been time they haven't died for the show to fall off in your eyes just because a character found a way to live is stupid the Waif is an assassin just like arya yall keep looking at

her like she just a child but she has been in training since season 1 she traped b the Waif into a situation where her little butter knife wouldn't amount to the tactical advantage of needle she also shut the lights off giving her even more of an advantage

Ayo b so you just gonna ignore that arya was stabbed the fuck up and lost liters of blood wandering the city? Drogo couldnt even ride a horse when his wound was infected. I have no problems when main characters surviving close calls but make it consistent through the series. Not some bullshit where a bitch becomes weapon x overnight or gets saved by some giant bitch in the middle of nowhere.

Niggas your missing the whole point of the Waif wanting arya to suffer she knew where to stab her so she could still attempt to survive

People have survived far worse

Look at that bitch face after arya escaped she knew she ain't give her the death poke

Bruh she still lost liters of blood. Where waif stabbed her doesnt matter when she lost that much blood and could barely move when she was found by the actress

I didn't say it was bad that every character in peril doesn't die. No one expects that. Nothing you said changes the fact that main characters now have a level of protection they didn't have before, so tricks used to build tension that would have worked in the first 2 or 3 seasons don't work now. If you don't understand that, I don't know what to tell you.

It's like the first season main character didn't drop like Flys and we got how many eps left?

The level of protection thing is bs how main characters you want to die until the story is revolved around motherfuckin podrick niggas don't have to die to make for compelling tv

Quite possible the whole arc for Arya was not to become a girl with no name or no face. Its possible it was for her to be who she actually is Arya fucking Stark and be strong in that.

We don't know what she may or may not have learned because she hasn't had to apply shit just yet. With her going back to Winterfell we just may see what she learned or didn't learn.

Jacque told us she really couldn't be a person with no name because she came from nobility and the many faced folks came from slaves.

IMO everything Arya has gone through could lead to the prophecy she had been given a long time ago. Now that she is heading back to Winterfell shit could really start to line up.

We don't need nearly 2 season for that shit, and a fucking actress pretending to be Cersei was the catalyst that got her to wanna be Arya Stark again???

What a waste of time.

Dog, I'm not really sure why you're arguing with me so hard. You're acting like I'm saying that it's bad that they aren't killing main characters off left and right. I'm not. I was simply pointing out why a scene that may have worked in earlier seasons fell flat in this season.

I don't know why y'all Larks so amped. Y'all in the far north and winter (i.e. White Walkers) is coming. Y'all got what, 2 swords that can break us (Jon's and Brienne's). Your only option is to run south for dear life and hope Dany meets up with you with those dragons. Then you still got to hope we don't just "walk" through the fire.
